About the Department of Neurological Surgery![]() The Department of Neurological Surgery provides patient care services for a broad range of neurological diseases and disorders at the four University of Washington affiliated hospitals in Seattle, Washington. The Department is the primary referral center for patients with complex neurological conditions in the five state WWAMI region (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana and Idaho), as well as a tertiary referral center for national and international patients. In addition, the Department has one of the premier academic training programs in the world, and maintains an active, cutting-edge research program ranging from basic science and translational research to a broad array of clinical trials. |
