Education & Training![]() The University of Washington Department of Neurological Surgery's residency and fellowship training programs are ranked among the best in the Nation. We continually strive to provide our medical students, residents, and fellows with the best possible educational experience. The Department’s clinical practice and faculty expertise cover all major specialty disciplines of Neurological Surgery. The UW Neurological Surgery Residency Program and fellowship programs provide comprehensive exposure to clinical neurosurgery, and superior resources and mentoring for the next generation of scientific investigators. We also offer a unique four-week clinical elective for qualified 3rd and 4th year medical students, allowing students to participate in a world-renowned academic neurosurgical program. |
