Introduction

The University of Washington Neurological Surgery Residency and Training program is a clinically robust and diverse academic program. It is designed to provide the Neurological Surgery resident with a comprehensive exposure to clinical neurosurgery while simultaneously preparing him/her to become an independent scientific investigator. Our Department’s stated mission, over the course of four decades, has been to mentor the neurosurgeon-scientist.
